The Orange Visitor Information Centre is your one-stop-shop for all Orange region tourism information. Pick up some great gift ideas while you’re here. From maps and brochures to itineraries and tours, the Orange Visitor Information Centre staff are here to assist you. Visitors will also enjoy browsing the new Orange Regional Museum. The Museum’s first on-site exhibition “Journeys” tell the stories of the Orange region through the people and the place, through time. Beginning with the region’s first inhabitants, the Wiradjuri people, “Journeys” explores the connection to country told through stories, places and artefacts. Progressing along the path of history, the exhibition follows the stories of the people who traveled to make their fortunes and eventually, their homes here. By featuring objects from regional collections and local individuals “Journeys” invites you to discover the rich heritage of our region. Feel free to explore further and visit the many sites of significance, endeavour and beauty. We are also very excited that Groundstone Café is part of this new venue featuring our famous local produce in their seasonal menu. Friendly service and great coffee, they are open early for breakfast and also have a tasty lunch menu. Open weekdays from 7:30am and weekends from 8:30am. Phone 0414 832 983 for your group booking.
